10 Questions contest coming up…

So we haven’t had a good contest in a few months, and we’ve got all these prizes around the office.. what to do with them? Here’s the idea: Each Friday we’ll publish ‘Tea time with _____________” (That ____ is you, by the way.) We’ll pick 10 questions, and publish them in about a week. Simply answer them and mail it in, and you will be in the running for some great prizes. This will be a random draw, as we really can’t pick a winner based on the answers. What are the questions? Actually we’re hoping you can help us out with some. Leave a question in the comment section that you would ask a fellow Photographer. More info soon..

Looking forward to getting my digital harinezumi. Taking the family to Israel this year, trying to resist buying a nikon d5000 and just taking the harinezumi. Have had a holga for years. Never get tired of my holga photos, but just haven’t got into home developing. Would you go on a big trip, with lots of photo opportunities with just a harinezumi?

    1. What is the weirdest cross-processing you have ever done? Will processing standard black and white film as C-41 ruin it? (I’ve never tried but really curious)

    2. If you had the power to invent/build any kind of camera you wanted what kind of lens would it have? Would it be a rangefinder, SLR, TLR, or some crazy abomination?

    3. Do you believe photography is a lie or selective truth?

    4. What is the line between editorial and art photography?

    5. Do you think knowing the technical aspects of how a camera functions and is put together makes a person a better photographer?

    6. What’s in your opinion the best underwater plastic camera?

    7. Half Frame? Full Frame? Square Format? Etc? Which is your favorite format to shoot in and why?

    8. Are you more drawn to color photographs or black and white?

    9. What do you think the cost of your camera collection would total? Are there pieces in your collection that you would never part with regardless how much was offered to you for it?

    10. Do you prefer shooting in a warmer or colder climate?

    Sorry, just a curious person!
I didn’t think I was going to actually ask 10 questions…but there you go!

my 2 cents: i would not be interested in digital/film or lomo/not lomo or PS/no PS or any other stuff like that thats a dime a dozen. if i had tea with someone i would probably ask what music they like or what inspires them. at the very least i would ask if the tea is nice.

Can photography revive the true world that’s missing?
A world that can give all of us an answer to our questions.
A world with more interaction, a world that really make you smile.

Is it even possible to hold someone tightly just by photographing and not saying a single word? If yes, i would do it not matter how hard it’ll take.

    What is your favorite:

    1. Camera?
    2. Film?
    3. Alcoholic beverage?

I figure cameras and alcohol go together pretty well.
