thanks for the great review. i’m waiting for mine to arrive
some might say blasphemy but technically it’s a toy camera, only digital. even purists are using it so why shouldn’t we?

great review! i am wondering if you are able to screw the harinezumi 2 on to a regular tripod if you were to do steady time lapse videos? thanks!

This camera is awesome!! I just got the new toy last week as a Birthday present and it’s the best present EVER!! I have a lomo, which is fantastic but costly in the processing stakes, so this camera is the perfect solution. The colours are amazing as are it’s depth of field and range. It is light as a feather and tiny so easy to slip in your pocket and carry everywhere you go – so look out world here we come!
The new capability of sound recording along with video is a major plus and a bigger plus is that it’s video quality is surprisingly good. The only major fault I have is the lack of flash, limiting the camera to day time photography. It’s also all to easy to re-format your memory card instead of deleting individual pictures, one slip of the tiny buttons is all it takes and this means you lose the lot! – note that alcohol consumption whilst deleting is not recommended. The little monkey also eats batteries, so I’m now of to order the re-chargeable type!

Stevie- I actually carry them both and a Sony audio recorder pretty much everywhere I go… they both have unique things that separate them, but share the same warm images. The newer one seems to work better indoors, which I like. I also do like the sound, as you can easily just remove the sound in the edit if you want to… I still carry a Sony digital audio recorder to capture background sounds, and I think that I will continue to shoot with them both, and mix it up.
