Let’s be honest- we’ve all seen this camera around eBay and have, at one time or another almost bought it. Why? Because it says Holga on the front. What does this camera have to do with the Holga that you and I know best? Nothing. Except for the name.

    @dave- I was thinking about the original Holga 120- I spoke to Holga about the camera, and it is an official product. Neat little camera this is….

    Not sure I understand the thinking behind “its has nothing to do with a Holga.”. Holga is a brand name for a company that makes cameras. If they make this, then this is a Holga. You can see other Holga branded cameras on Tokina’s web site http://www.tokina.com.hk/products11.htm.

    Unless you are using the word “Holga” to be a style, rather than a camera brand.

    Using your Canon analogy, I still call the 5D MkII a “Canon” even though it is nothing like the “S” rangefinder from 1939.
